The Sale Is the Beginning, Not the End.

You’ve spent decades building and running a business. When that chapter closes, the question isn’t just what to do next — it’s who you want to be next.

The challenge most owners face

Identity is harder to sell than a business.

For most business owners, the business isn’t just a job — it’s the framework for their entire day, their social world, their sense of accomplishment, and a large part of how they see themselves. When that goes away, even a great exit can feel hollow.

Research consistently shows that business owners who don’t plan for the personal side of the transition struggle with the shift far more than those who do. The planning gap isn’t the financials — it’s the life.

“I sold the business and had more money than I needed. I just had no idea what to do on a Tuesday morning.”

What we work on

Building your next chapter with intention

This isn’t therapy. It’s structured, forward-focused work with someone who understands the business owner mindset.

What Do You Actually Want?

Most business owners have spent decades executing on what the business needs. We start from scratch — without the business — and figure out what genuinely matters to you in this next phase.

Purpose & Structure

Golf and travel are great — for two weeks. Then what? We help you design a life that has meaning, structure, and the right mix of challenge and freedom for who you actually are.

Relationships & Family

A major life transition changes relationship dynamics. We work through how the shift affects your marriage, your friendships, and your role in the family — before the friction starts rather than after.

Wealth & Meaning

Many owners find that sudden liquidity raises more questions than it answers. We work through the relationship between money, meaning, and what you actually want your wealth to do in your life.

Health & Energy

Business owners often defer their health for decades. This chapter is the right time to make it a priority. We build health and energy goals into the overall plan — not as an afterthought.

Legacy & Giving

What do you want to be known for? How do you want to invest in the next generation — whether that’s your family, your community, or the causes that matter to you?

How it works

Structured. Practical. Built for people who get things done.

We work in a series of focused conversations — typically monthly, with work in between. Sessions are substantive, not open-ended. We identify what’s holding you back, build on what’s working, and leave every session with clear next steps.

Most clients begin 6–12 months before a sale or transition and continue through the first year of the new chapter. Some start earlier. The work compounds over time.
